The Frazee family enjoying their underdeveloped homestead, part of which became the little Taosurfer Ranch. They had an outdoor kitchen and teepees. They invited their Bohemian friends down to camp during the late 19th and early 20th century. Later Isaac Frazee would go on to become the honorary dean of the arts community in Laguna Beach, CA, laying the foundation for the Pageant of the Masters. His life and writings questioned the lust for efficiency, accumulation, and industrialization of his time.
