Allegations of Sexual Assault at Concordia Preparatory School

Discussion of news stories reporting on allegations of sexual assault, misconduct, and mismanagement of a hyper sexualized culture at Concordia Preparatory School, near Baltimore. We laud the courage of the young women who have spoken out bravely about their experiences. How does this demonstrate system justification theory? We send our encouragement to students and faculty who have struggled to get things on the right track, and urge all involved to use this opportunity to change the culture of one school as part of a greater work: to start with communities of faith and eliminate rape culture and the false theologies that support it in our schools and houses of worship.
